Sketch Problem by Aaron Klug • Appropriately incorporates 3ds-max 09 with Google to realistically depict architecture form, space and order of a preposed idea in a built environment
Applied Theories Sketch Problem by Aaron Klug
• Applies relevant scale of the surrounding environment to his idea – thus shaping the concept of form by inclusion and cohesion. The principal of using a set back to aid in defining a form incorporates Chicago code allowances of permitting more height, while enhancing the inclusion of the human scale to the impacted environment. • Incorporates symmetry of applied materials used on the surrounding structures to his idea, to define an unrestrained form still representing geometric principals • Does not depict a simple tower, but instead incorporates minimalism with a basic twist to augment a simple tower form. • Invites the concept of foliage and gramineae to his idea, in an attempt to bring symmetry to exterior spaces, without limiting them to one plane or focal point of access and maintainability
Contiguous form Sketch Problem by Aaron Klug
• Contemporaneously caps his structure while allowing the sky / clouds to aid in highlighting the form of his shaft above an asymmetric base
The building is very exciting. It looks like a sail, billowing in the wind. I find it hard to believe that it will withstand a strong gale. Assuming it does, it would be quite a sculptural achievement.
I disagree vehemently with the idea the building is somehow, humanistic. I just do not think that is possible with a skyscraper - and certainly not with this one. If anything, this building is the opposite; at eye level looks like a great big solid waterfall of steel and glass hurtling down at you. Which is why you show it at a different height (image on right on 2nd sheet). I do like how you show the context in that image, but it is misleading. I suspect the building will stand out more than you have shown there. I like that you do this with all many of the images and the aerial shot (right sheet 1) is great.
I appreciate the provision of trees and green space. However, I do nott believe for a momen that anyone will ever go outside on those elevated parks, especially at the higher levels.

Dear Aaron,
